Well, I dont like our chances this year and it looks like we are all thinking about the future of the celtics. We should make any moves that could create some assets for this team and not just let everyone walk. Everyone should be on the block to try making this team BETTER!! I like the Idea of trying to get young players with good contracts and/or draft picks for our vets. Another benifit it trading our vets is that we will actually let the young guys get some minutes and see if the fit in out future. I dont know about you, but i hate to see dooling playing over more or not that kg and bass are out that jajuan or steisma are not getting the majority of the minutes. lets see if these guys can actually play. Anyways here are some players that I would not mind getting on the cheap that would not hurt the cap and will still allow us to get max contract deals in the off season(via dwight or deron).
Trade Ideas.
Paul Milsap- 2ys/8mi
Derrick Favors- 3yr/4.4mil
Anderson Varajao- 4yr/7.7mil
Paul George- 3yr-2.2mil
Lou Williams- 2yr-5.1mil
Evan Turner- 3yr-4.9mil
Andrea Bargnani- 4yr-9.2mi
Damar Derozen- 2yr-2.6mil
Derrick Williams- 4yr-4.6mil
wesley Matthews- 4yr- 6mil
Demarcus Cousins- 3yr-3.6mil
Not sure which players here we could get and I am sure I am missing more players, but these are the type of players we should be attempting to trade for along with draft picks and get some assets on this team.
Even the idea of trading Rondo for Gasol would be bad if we could get a good point guard like mo williams or even get deron in the off season.
Be respectful and keep it clean. Thanks.

the guy listed whod be costly the trade will leave us no draft pick but maybe we can make good deal s

All good players
From your list (though i have my own with some different guys too) i like D Williams and George— but i think George is not available. Baragani would be interesting if we keep Rondo and add Williams, Green and another athletic wing. Might not be the best Defensive team, but fun to watch.

I think that Favors is the Most Realistic
on that list, using rondo as the trade bait…A trade of Rondo and Bass (or even JJJ) to Utah for Harris and Favors would have to be intriguing for them… they would still have good frontcourt depth with milisap, kanter, jefferson and bass… they would have a great pg in rondo, two developing wings in hayward and burks, plus draft picks to get further help on the wings.. (their own and GS which is top 8 protected this year)..

Not one of those guys are available.

which players?
The OP has at least 5 guys that have bee mentioned in trade talks this year —and some recently. (Wiliams, Mathews, Favors, Milsap, Cousins). Whether they will or won’t be traded is speculation… unless you have inside info that confirms your statement.

I’ve seen zero of those guys in trade rumors outside of fans throwing junk at the wall.
Just because fans see ooh Cousins got suspended by the Kings, we could trade for him!, doesn’t mean he’s actually available.

Point is
you or I cannot speak so definitely about who will or won’t get traded. Using the words “I think” or “may” or IMO makes it sound like an opinion … which it is. Heard ESPN mention thoughts on D Williams last night…

Man, I’d love to pair Millsap and Howard. If we coudl keep Rondo and Pierce…phew that’d be a team

It's too painful to watch anymore.
You know who’s really pissed? The TV networks that booked all these C’s games for the season. A rerun of Jersey Shore has more substance than a 2012 C’s game.
