A. Sherrod Blakely reports that Doc ruled Ray Allen and Rajon Rondo out for tonight.
However, according to Steve Bulpett of the Boston Herald, some injured Celtics were additions to practice in Winter Park, Florida yesterday. .
"Mickael Pietrus (sore right shoulder) was a surprise addition to the practice, and he was able to participate all the way through. Same for Chris Wilcox (left calf) and Keyon Dooling (right knee)."
The more help the merrier with another matchup against Orlando, a team the Celtics held to a miniscule 56 points three days ago, set for tonight at the Amway Center.
Pietrus could be a big addition with the reported ankle injury to Ray Allen, as the Celtics sharpshooter did not make the trip to Orlando. Wilcox could be a key returner to the frontcourt, with a potentially motivated Dwight Howard probably chomping at the bit to get some revenge for the embarrassing loss the other night.
The 6-foot-10 WIlcox has averaged 1.6 points and 1.9 rebounds in seven games for the Celtics, but a healthy body with five fouls to give against Howard — who is shooting a 46.7 percent from the line this year — would make up for a lack of production in the box score. Wilcox has been out of the lineup since for almost two weeks with an injured calf.

I can't believe how cocky we've got after that one win
Nonetheless, let’s freakin’ do it again!!!

Rest them another week
It’s a long grueling season and I would not rush these guys back. Sasha and Avery are playing well so why not see if we can get away with another week with the reserves.

I hope no one is getting cocky. Look at our record.

+1
Right! A win is a win and you build on that win. I hate saying this, but it’s no longer about trying to get a top seed especially with the poor start. It’s about staying healthy and making the playoffs as 5-8 seed.

Doc's all happy now
because he’s getting his vets back and will play Dooling, Pietrus and Wilcox ahead of Bradley, Moore and Steimsma. Peitrus will be a great addition for this game but I’ll be a bit peeved if Dooling gets all Bradley’s minutes after how well he played last game.

I see you are as big of a fan of Doc's rotations as I am
